On the circumference the inscription: [СОЮЗ/СОВЕТСКИХ/СОЦІАЛИСТИЧЕСКИХ/РЕСПУБЛИК] (UNION OF SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLICS). The beginning and end of the inscription are separated by a five-pointed star. Reverse: in the center the inscription in three lines [1/РУБЛЬ/1964] (ruble) - the denomination and the year of issue; on the circumference a wreath of wheat ears and oak leaves.
