The Museum of History and Ethnography in Nicoreni village, Drochia district, is located in the House of Culture, which is located in the center of the village.
In the museum, there are two exhibition rooms, with different themes: "Viata satului", which reproduces the history of the village and the "Cimbrisor" choir, and "Mestesugul", which presents a foray into the history of the villagers' occupations.
The most important purpose of the museum is to convey these values to the public. The most valuable pieces in the museum's collection are the ethnographic objects: towels, crocheted doilies, household wipes, wool scarves, embroideries, carpets, wall hangings. The museum also has a collection of photos from Nicoreni village life, a collection of icons, old suitcases, sewing machines, wooden boxes, etc.
In the museum premises, history lessons, cultural activities and round tables are organized for secondary school students.
